Sierra is a gentle, grey mare who is still settling into life at HAHS. She has made great progress in building trust. Once haltered, she leads and ties well, showing a calm and willing demeanor. She enjoys being groomed and readily picks up all of her feet, making her easy to handle for farrier and veterinary care.

Due to her age and physical condition, Sierra is available as a pasture pal. She has dropped pasterns, which were evaluated by our veterinarian and do not seem to be causing her discomfort at this time. However, she would do best in a home where she can enjoy a peaceful, low-impact lifestyle.

Adjusting to a new environment can take time, but Sierra is beginning to come out of her shell. With patience and gentle handling, we are excited to see more of her personality shine. She has already shown resilience and a sweet nature, and we look forward to helping her continue to feel safe and comfortable in her new home.
