About Ken

Ken trotted his way into our hearts—quite literally—after being found running loose in Kendall County, which inspired his fitting name. This 22-year-old Arabian gelding is the picture of curiosity and charm, always eager to greet staff and visitors with a bright eye and gentle nuzzle.

When Ken arrived, he was quite underweight at just over 625 pounds. Since then, he has steadily gained strength, muscle, and confidence thanks to dedicated care and a whole lot of love. As he continues to blossom, our team will begin evaluating Ken under saddle to determine his rideability and the type of home where he’ll thrive.
