About Jack

Jack came to HAHS with his best friend Edith after their owner passed away. As of 2025, Jack is approximately 26 years old. Jack came to us with untreated Pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID), also known as Cushing's disease. He has begun his daily medications (Prascend and Equioxx) to help control his symptoms and to maintain his comfort level. Jack is a beautiful, albeit fluffy, buckskin gelding. Jack has a gentle disposition and is suitable as a pasture pal at this time.

We will follow up as quickly as possible to answer your questions and schedule a time for you to meet the animal. As part of the adoption process, we run a background check and follow up on vet and farrier references (if applicable).
