As of 2025, Lace is eleven years old. She is a registered Palomino Overo Paint mare with one beautiful blue eye. She stands 15 H. Lace came to HAHS with five other paint mares after their owner passed away. At first, she was very shy and a little nervous, but has blossomed during her time here at HAHS. She will now come to you in the field and stand for grooming, blanketing, and does great for the vet and farrier. 

She has spent the last 6 months with a professional trainer, and has proven to have a great mind. Throughout her training, she has been looking great under saddle and has spent many hours moving cattle and buffalo, ponying other horses, and has even been helping break colts in the Dakotas. We recommend a home with a more experienced rider, though she would be suitable for some intermediate riders at this point in her training.
