Interested In Volunteering At Hooved Animal Humane Society?
Whether you want to learn more about animals, meet others like yourself, reduce stress with physical activity, or make a difference in the life of a neglected animal, we, and the animals, really appreciate your interest. To become a volunteer, you must be 16 or older or 12-15 with a parent or legal guardian volunteering alongside you.
To become a HAHS volunteer, we ask that you review a volunteer packet. We humbly request all volunteers to commit to four hours of service per month.
If you want to work with the animals, join our Hooves and Hands volunteer program. We ask that you be 18 years of age or older and commit to three weekend days a month. For each volunteer session, you will spend approximately one hour helping with animal care chores and then one hour working with horses.
If interested, please complete a volunteer application and we will contact you as soon as possible. We will provide an on-site orientation session when you begin volunteering. Orientation stresses the importance of safety around HAHS and the animals. We ask all volunteers to come dressed to work. No open-toed shoes or loose jewelry.
