First Time Goat Ownership Saturday Seminar Series

Loading Events

Join us virtually for “First Time Goat Ownership-What to Expect” the sixth installment of the HAHS Saturday Seminar Series on July 9, 2022 at 10am CDT.

Goats seem to be everywhere these days–goat yoga, anyone? From personal care products to milk and cheese to companionship and perhaps clearing some overgrown areas, goats are becoming more popular–and more common–than ever before.  Humanely caring for them requires more than making sure they have enough water and green stuff to chow down on.

Dr.Emma Kamps from the Animal Hospital of Woodstock will be sharing the need-to-know basics of purchasing and caring for goats for first-time goat ownership. If you are considering owning goats, or maybe have already taken the plunge and want to make sure you are well-prepared for this adventure, join us on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at 10am CDT for this informative webinar!

The presentation should be 60-90 minutes long, with time for questions at the end.

Memorial and Honorarium Gifts

Gifts of any amount can be made in memory of, or honor of, a loved one. Memorials are a meaningful way to remember a loved one who has passed away.

Honorariums are a meaningful way to recognize a special friend, colleague, or loved one on an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion.

One of the most unique and impactful ways to honor a loved one is to establish a lasting tribute by building a barn or arena. For more information on this exclusive opportunity, its profound impact on rescue animals, and our work to promote humane treatment, click here to send us an email.
